ABL sponsors 17th Ghana Journalists Association Awards

 Accra Brewery Limited, ABL, yesterday presented its sponsorship package for the 17th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) awards slated for Saturday, August 25 in Accra.    

The three-thousand cedi package consist of 100 cartons of the company's assorted alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages including 25 cartons of Club Premium Lager, 10 cartons of Stone Strong Lager, 10 cartons of Castle Milk Stout, 35 cartons of Castle Milk malt and 20 cartons of Club minerals.    

Presenting the items, the Human Resource Director, Akature Ania, said the company is happy to be lending a hand in achieving excellence in journalism in the country.    

Mr Ania said "As a beverage manufacturing company, Accra Brewery is actively involved in activities in the arts and entertainment and domestic tourism, hence its keen interest in supporting the award”.  

The Vice President of GJA, Roland Affail Monney in receiving the package, commended ABL for supporting the GJA by offering training programmes for its members. He said the association will continue to work with ABL to make strides on the media landscape.
