FBI reports man shoots six people at Sikh temple

Federal Bureau of Investigations,FBI reports say the man who shot dead six people at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, United States died of a self-inflicted gun shot to the head after police shot him.

The authorities said police responders shot Wade Michael in the stomach, but they did not fire the fatal shot, as they had initially said.

At a news conference, the FBI also confirmed ex-girlfriend Misty Cook, had been arrested on a weapons charge.

There is no suggestion Misty Cook, 31, was involved in Sunday's attack.

FBI Special Agent,Teresa Carlson, yesterday confirmed that she had seen video footage in which a police officer shot in the stomach.
