Political Parties comment on vetting of Vice Presidential nominee The vetting of Vice Presidential nominee, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has attracted comments from political parties, MPs and individuals. They praised him for a sterling performance. A leading Member of the NDC, Goosie Tanoh, praised Parliament for the professionalism exhibited. To him, Mr. Amissah-Arthur answered the questions well. The Minister of Trade and Industry, Hannah Tetteh, also believed Mr. Amissah-Arthur performed creditably well in his answers. The Minority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, said Mr. Amissah-Arthur was crisp with his answers. The Member of Parliament for Madina Abokobi, Alhaji Amadu Sorogo, said the Vice President-designate, knew what he was about as he gave accurate answers to the questions. He also used to opportunity to clarify some issues about his person. The MP for Akyem Aboakwa South, Samuel Atta Akyea, noted that Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur did not perform badly at all. He said if asked to grade him, he will give him 60 percent. For his part, the MP for Manhyia, Matthew Opoku Prempeh feels the Vice President's nominee declined to answer some critical economic questions.
