President Mahama urges chiefs to ensure equitable distribution of land

President John Dramani Mahama has urged Chiefs particularly those in the Greater Accra Region to set up a system that will ensure fair and equitable distribution with regard to land issues.  

He said he is aware that issue concerning land is a major factor to the many disputes that have characterised chieftaincy in the country. 

President Mahama however resolved to work hand-in-hand with all chiefs to put to rest all outstanding chieftaincy disputes across board. 

The President was receiving the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs at the Castle, Osu.
