National Media Commission swears in new member

A new member of the National Media Commission, Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, has been sworn in at the Supreme Court premises in Accra.  

Mr. Gyan-Apenteng who is currently the President of the Ghana Association of Writers, replaces Berefi Afari Apenteng, following his appointment as the Director-General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.  

Performing the swearing in on behalf of the Chief Justice, a Supreme Court Judge, Justice Rose Owusu urged the Commission to ensure that the media is not used to propagate information which would generate confusion this election year.
