Third intake of GBC's BTT course opens Intake three of GBC's broadcast technology technician training (BTT) course has opened in Accra. Eighty-seven participants will be trained in both Radio and Television broadcast technology. They will go through courses such as Radio broadcasting, digital audio techniques, principles of frequency modulation and digital television broadcasting. The Acting Director General, Kwabena Sarpong Anane, says continuous training programme for technicians has now become very important in today's digital information age. He advised the participants to take the course seriously since it is the only broadcast technology technician training programme in the country. The Head of the GBC Engineering training school, Anthony Gakpey, noted that the training is competence based and will also train participants in technology behind broadcast equipment. Mr. Gakpey gave the assurance that with such training, participants will be equipped to be able to work in any local and international broadcast organization. GBC NEWS
