Veep pledges to turn Ejisuman  SHS fortunes around 

Vice President, Mr John Mahama, has pledged to turn the fortunes of the Ejisuman Senior High School around by ensuring they get their fair share of the GETfund. 

The school has had to depend solely on internally generated funds to embark on massive infrastructural development without assistance from successive governments. 

Ejisuman Senior High School was established some 40 years ago to meet the educational needs of the youth within Ejisu Juabeng Traditional Area and its catchment areas. 

Though they say life begins at 40, the same cannot be said of Ejisu Senior High School. With a student population 2,870, the school is less endowed with the barest of infrastructure to keep the school running. 

At the 40th anniversary of the school, it came to light that Ejisuman Senior High School has never benefited from any GETFund project, has no school bus and some of the students have had to convert classrooms into dormitories for want of accommodation. 

This precarious situation has resulted in a number of students rejecting admission into the school. 

With the help of the PTA, the school has used internally generated funds to fully construct 6 facilities including a boy’s dormitory. 

In the phase of all these difficulties, academics performances have been improving year after year, this according to the Vice President, John Dramani Mahama, is worth emulating and supporting. 

A science and administration was inaugurated and named after the hardworking headmaster to serve as a motivation to his other counterparts in other schools.
