The Daily Graphic looks at how challenges confronting the implementation of the Single Spine Salary Structure, SSSS, could be resolved. The paper seems to agree with President Mahama that, discussions on the outstanding issues with all stakeholders should be based on understanding and mutual respect. The Ghanaian Times which is delighted that the police Administration is leaving no stone unturned by ensuring that there is adequate security throughout the period of late President Mills' funeral. It says the announcement that about two thousand Police personnel would be deployed throughout the city to maintain law and order is a step in the right direction. The paper also describes as appropriate the decision to block some major roads in the city to facilitate the transportation of special guests and dignitaries to the funeral grounds. The Times hopes that the Police Officers to be deployed in the city would comport themselves to the admiration of the outside world.
