Government to give Teachers free laptop
The Minister of Education, Lee Ocran, says government is aiming at 60 to 70 percent BECE passes in the short term.

In this regard, government has put in place measures to adequately resource teachers for quality teaching.

As part of these measures, government has since the beginning of this year, embarked on a project to give each public sector teacher, a free laptop.

Inaugurating an 18-unit classroom block in Accra, Mr. Ocran announced that an agreement for 50,000 of the laptops under the first phase has been signed.
