Members of the Constitutional Review Committee (CRC), have been explaining the rationale behind the proposal to change the procedure of allocating money from the common fund to MPs for development projects.

Under the new arrangement, MP's would no longer have separate funds allocated in their names to undertake specific development programmes.

The facility would be known and incorporated as District Development Fund.
