GIJ re-introduces population and data reporting in curriculum
The Ghana Institute of Journalism is reintroducing Population and Data Reporting in its curriculum to develop the capacity of communicators and journalists.

It is also to enable people to understand and appreciate the use of data in promoting national development.

At a workshop in Accra to solicit views from stakeholders to properly structure the programme, a professor of Geography at the University of Ghana, Legon, Professor Kofi Asare said the use of data and reporting will enhance quality of debate on population issues while informing government’s decision.
