Evangelical Lutheran Church ordains Pastor
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ghana has ordained Nicholas Salifu as a Pastor in Accra. Pastor Salifu's, ordination comes after successfully completing a three -year Masters of Divinity Degree in St. Louis, USA after serving the church for 40 years.

The President of the Church, Right Rev. Dr. Paul Kofi Fynn who administered the ordination vow, advised the newly ordained Pastor to keep watch of his doctrines and persevere as he steps out to the world to do the work of God.

He advised Pastor Salifu to turn to God for protection and counselling when he is faced with trials and temptations.

Rt. Reverend Dr. Fynn commended the ordained Pastor for immense contribution towards the Church especially in translating the Lutheran Catheisa to Kussal. He urged the Church to receive the new pastor and give him the needed support.

In a sermon, a Senior Pastor of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, USA, Reverend Dr. Ron Pall said God looks at the heart of men and chooses ordinary people and make them renowned personalities. He expressed the hope that Pastor Salifu will put to good use, the authority God has given him. He advised Pastor Salifu not to take credit for how far he has come but rather give thanks to God.

Pastor Salifu expressed appreciation to the Church for the enormous support he has received especially when he was at the seminary. He said his priority is to win more souls for Christ.
