The Daily Graphic calls on those charged with the responsibility of conducting a successful Hajj to do a good job this year to enable all the people who have gone through the processes for the trip to get the opportunity to travel. The paper says the time has come for the National Hajj Committee, in consultation with other stakeholders to take steps to remove the bottlenecks that militate against a smooth Hajj. The Graphic however, urges Muslims who will make it to Mecca to be a good example in Saudi Arabia of the usual Ghanaian values of humility and respect for the laws of other countries. It also called on the pilgrims to use the opportunity to pray for Allah's guidance for Ghana especially in its quest to conduct the most peaceful elections ever.

The ECG and the Performance Contract is how the Ghanaian Times titles its editorial. The paper encourages the ECG to sign the Customer Charter Contract which requires that electricity consumers pay bills promptly, while the EGC also gives them good services. The paper hopes that this move will be a precedence to addressing all other situations whereby utility providers fail to meet the expectations of the public.
